A Model for Determining the Refractory Composition of Planets.

ABSTRACT:

The work to be presented is a highly detailed and generalizable modelization of planetary refractory composition for Sun-like planetary systems. The distribution of solid compounds throughout the protoplanetary disks of the Sun and WASP-12 are investigated under the light of their well-known elemental compositions. After the calculation of refractory compounds for the reasonable temperature range, the compositional distributions are modeled for planets generated in certain locations of protoplanetary disks, depending on thermodynamic conditions. The results are compared with the measurements of solar planets, and possible compositions are suggested for the planets about WASP-12.
