Si informa che il 28 giugno 2018 alle ore 11:00, presso la Sala Conferenze dell’Osservatorio, il Dott. Sebastian Hidalgo, dell’Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, terrà un seminario dal titolo: “The Star Formation History in the Local Group: Implications in Cosmology and Galaxy Evolution”

Abstract

We will show how to use the Star Formation History to obtain ages and metallicities distributions from resolved stars in dwarf galaxies of the Local Group. The analysis of accurate ages and metallicities allow us to trace the onset of the star formation of these galaxies up to the Epoch of the Reionization, the mass-metallicity relation, and the built of the galaxies structure.
