Abstract

In this talk I will discuss how rotation could modify the physical and chemical properties of CO WDs accreting mass in interacting binaries. I will critically review the physical processes driving the angular momentum evolution and the mixing of the chemical species, and I will discuss how these processes are taken into account in stellar evolutionary codes currently in use. As a scientific case, I will present preliminary results concerning the evolution of AM CVn systems.
